The true story of our origins

Genesis 1
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
The earth was waste and empty and darkness was over the surface of the deep.
The Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, Let there be light. And there was light.
God saw the light that it was good; and he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light Day and the darkness he called Night. There was evening and there was morning - the first day.
God said, Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters and let it be a division between waters and waters.
God made the expanse and separated the waters under the expanse from the waters above it. And it was so.
And God called the expanse Heavens. There was evening and there was morning - a second day.
And God said, Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together to one place and let the dry land appear. And it was so.
God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters he called Seas. And God saw that it was good.
God said, Let the earth cause grass to spring up, herb producing seed, fruit-trees yielding fruit after their kind, the seed of which is in them, on the earth. And it was so.
The earth brought forth grass, herb producing seed after its kind, and trees yielding fruit, the seed of which is in them, after their kind. And God saw that it was good. There was evening and there was morning - a third day.
And God said, Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens, to separate the day from the night; let them be for signs, for seasons and for days and years; let them be for lights in the expanse of the heavens, to give light on the earth. And it was so.
God made the two great lights, the great light to rule the day and the small light to rule the night - and the stars.
God set them in the expanse of the heavens, to give light on the earth, to rule during the day and during the night and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good. There was evening and there was morning - a fourth day.
God said, Let the waters swarm with swarms of living souls, and let fowl fly above the earth in the expanse of the heavens.
God created the great sea monsters and every living soul that moves with which the waters swarm, after their kind, and every winged fowl after its kind. And God saw that it was good.
God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful and multiply, fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply on the earth. There was evening and there was morning - a fifth day.
God said, Let the earth bring forth living souls after their kind, cattle, creeping thing and beast of the earth, after their kind. And it was so. God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing of the ground after its kind. And God saw that it was good.
God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the heavens, over the cattle, over the whole earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.
God created Man in his image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
God blessed them and said to them, Be fruitful and multiply, fill the earth and subdue it. Have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the fowl of the heavens and over every animal that moves on the earth.
God said, Behold, I give you every seed-bearing plant that is on the whole earth, and every tree that has fruit producing seed: it will be food for you. To every animal of the earth, to every fowl of the heavens and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which is a living soul, that has the breath of life in it, I give every green herb for food. And it was so.
God saw everything that he had made and behold it was very good. There was evening and there was morning - the sixth day.
The heavens and the earth and all their host were finished. By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so he rested on the seventh day from all his work. Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all he had created in making it.

Introduction to Genesis 1

Genesis, the first book of the Bible has been written by Moses. God spoke with Moses openly, face to face, as a man speaks with his friend and not in riddles; he sees the form of the Lord. God said to him, Write this for a memorial in the book! Since then, the first chapter of Genesis made known to the whole world and to every generation the true beginning of the universe.
But before Moses wrote down this wonderful story of the Creation of the World, it had been carefully communicated from one generation to another, since the first human being wascreated. Adam, whose name means Man, with whom I used to walk in the garden in the cool of the day, told the story to Seth, his son. Later Seth told it to Enosh, his son, and so on, the ancestors of the Jews faithfully talked about these marvelous events.
In the book The Creation of the World, the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ, the workman and eyewitness of these six first days, is going to tell you how these things really happened.
I will speak a message of wisdom among the mature; wisdom not of this world, nor of the rulers of this world, who are coming to nothing. No, I declare God’s wisdom, a mystery that has been hidden and that God destined for your glory before time began. None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. The wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure, then peaceful, gentle, yielding, full of mercy and good fruits, unquestioning, unfeigned. However, as it is written: Things which eye has not seen and ear not heard, and which have not come into man’s heart, which God has prepared for them that love him, but God has revealed them to you by his Spirit. By faith you’ll understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, by his word, so that what is seen did not take its origin from things which are visible. Whatever God does will be for ever; there is nothing to be added to it, nor anything to be taken from it.
The Bible, also called the Holy Scriptures or the Word of God, has been written over a period of over fifteen centuries by about forty different authors. It is so wonderfully constant and true, that you should only acknowledge that it is the work of one and unique author: God himself, the Creator who is speaking to his creatures. Unfortunatly, people will not bear sound teaching; instead to suit their own desires and lusts, they will gather around them a great number of teachers, to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn away from the truth to false doctrines, fables, myths, endless genealogies, which bring questionings and controversial speculations. They prefer profane, vain, godless chatter and opposing ideas of what is falsely called knowledge, rather than the advancing work of God, which is by faith. They are always learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. They also withstand the truth; men of depraved minds, found worthless as regards of faith. But they will not get very far because their folly will be manifest to everyone. For there is revealed wrath of God from heaven against all godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their unrighteousness. Because what may be known of God is plain to them, for God has made it plain to them. For from the world’s creation God’s invisible qualities, his eternal power and divine nature, are perceived, being understood by the mind through the things that are made, so as to render them inexcusable. For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God, nor gave thanks to him; but fell into folly in their thoughts, and their heart without understanding was darkened: professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into the likeness of an image of a mortal human being and of birds, animals and reptiles. They will perish, but God remains; and all of them will grow old as a garment: like clothing he will change them and they will be discarded. Nothing will be impossible with God. But we have not made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, following cleverly imagined fables, but having been eyewitnesses of his majesty; for prophecy was not ever uttered by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke under the power of the Holy Spirit. Therefore abide in the faith founded and firm, and do not move away from the hope of the gospel, which you have heard, which has been proclaimed in the whole creation under heaven.
Genesis 1 is historically true. All the other theories on the subject of the origins of the world are lies from the enemies of God. These wrong ideas are represented on the painting of the first page by a reptile strengthless in front of the mighty Lion of Juda. The drawings of this book often have an allegorical sense based on biblical images and must be viewed as through the eyes of the Creator, with a heavenly perspective. An ancient translation (close to the King James), John Nelson Darby (1890) - eblc. La Foge C - CH-1816 Chailly-Montreux, has been the source of inspiration to the biblical research, and a modern one, the New International Version, copyright 2011 by Biblica. Inc., helped to adapt old English into modern speaking.
The Son of his love, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins; who is image of the invisible God, firstborn of all creation; because by him were created all things, the things in the heavens and the things upon the earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones, or lordships, or principalities, or authorities: all things have been created by him and for him. And he is before all, and all things subsist together by him. Colossians 1. 13-17
